We’ve gained a great deal of specialist knowledge along the way, using our expertise to navigate planning laws and challenging design projects – but we are the team that doesn’t give up.
We employ specialists in every discipline required to complete a building project from the absolute start in the planning stages, through construction and onto the final building and finishing touches before keys hand over.
Using Building Information Modelling technology, (BIM) we can imagine and re-imagine a client’s new home as the design is developed which takes our client into the build from the beginning. The software we use really does bring design to life, offering a fantastic insight into layout, space and light – to see how designs will work before they are built.
Vernacular Homes Design & Build make sure that each building project adheres strictly to building regulation and regularly communicates with planning officers to come up with design solutions to achieve planning consent.
We have an excellent record with obtaining planning permission for many types of residential construction. We can revise and rework old, inherited or previously failed planning applications, or simple start with a blank sheet.
Planning permission will only be granted with the submission of a detailed planning application and our architectural designers are fully capable of producing the plans, technical design and other documents required to achieve it.
Every aspect of the build is subject to best design practice with a project manager and site foreman oversight.
You’ll see the designs we developed together being built to your specification and finish, creating your beautiful home.
We work throughout Kent and East Sussex and into east Surrey in the small villages and larger towns such as Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Maidstone, Canterbury, Sevenoaks, Lewes and Westerham.
